Share & Voice: Gooseberry Falls Photos

Recently, my roommate and I took a little adventure up to Gooseberry Falls for the afternoon.  We wanted to get outside while it is still nice and there is no snow on the ground, yet!  It was a gorgeous day and we took a bunch of pictures so here are some to share, enjoy!

Everybody needs beauty as well as bread, places to play in and pray in, where nature may heal and give strength to body and soul alike.

  1. Hi Bailey!

I love your pictures, they seem so peaceful and inviting. I've never been to Gooseberry Falls, but heard it was very nice. After looking at your pictures, I may have to take a trip to see the all the natural beauty it seems to offer.

  2. Bailey!
I love Gooseberry Falls and it's a place I hold very dear to my heart with many memories. I'm really glad that you were blessed with the experience to go up there! It looks like you went at a good time because according to this webstie http://www.dnr.state.mn.us/state_parks/gooseberry_falls/index.html
the parks will be closed for an open deer hunter session. This website also said that Gooseberry Falls is the gateway to the North Shore.

Gooseberry Falls is also a state park that a lot of schools take field trips to. I think that's a good way to teach about the environment by taking student to experience the real thing! If only we could take Dr. V's class up there and be united with nature in this park ha ha! Well i guess we'll have to be humble with laying on the Campus's lawn for now.

Thanks for the great photos, and I'll be sharing my photos with Hartley Nature Center or Hawks Ridge.

  3. I love that you did this post on Gooseberry Falls! I actually was thinking of doing the same since I've been there a few times and took a ton of pictures. It's a beautiful place to go and get away for awhile. I also really liked your quote at the end :)
